From AI awareness
to board-ready
strategy — structured.
For CFOs and finance leaders in German Mittelstand · EUR 50m–2bn
A programme that equips CFOs and finance leaders to move from AI awareness to governed, measurable AI value creation — across finance, controlling, reporting, planning, cash, risk, and strategic decision support. Every session produces one completed section of your board-ready AI Finance Playbook, built live with your own company data.
One playbook.
Your company's data.
Both tiers follow the same 2-hour session format and the same module structure. Masterclass Essentials covers the foundation — Modules 1–4. The AI CFO Executive Program extends through all 10 modules for CFOs building a full, implementation-ready AI strategy.
Essentials
AI literacy, use case identification, data foundations, and AI-enabled FP&A. Covers the Foundation and Enablement phases of the programme.
Executive Program
The full journey: understand, apply, govern, execute, and present. Adds Application, Governance, and Decision phases — from reporting and cash to EU AI Act compliance and a board-ready investment roadmap.
5 phases.
One direction.
All sessions are 2 hours. Every module consists of 2 sessions. The session length is fixed across all modules to create a consistent scheduling habit. Modules 1–4 form the Masterclass Essentials. Modules 5–10 extend into the AI CFO Executive Program.
Build foundational AI literacy, define the CFO Impact Framework, create the 2026 AI North Star, and run an AI-readiness diagnostic across eight dimensions.
Identify, score, and prioritise high-value finance AI use cases using the Finance AI Value Map across six value pools: AP automation, AR and collections, close acceleration, FP&A and forecasting, anomaly detection, and finance knowledge work.
Understand the data and system foundations required for scalable AI in finance. Cover SAP and ERP landscape implications, master data quality, chart of accounts structure, BI and FP&A integration, and shadow system risk.
Apply AI to budgeting, driver-based forecasting, rolling forecasts, scenario simulation, and board-level scenario storytelling. Cover the balance between algorithmic recommendation and human judgement.
Improve management reporting, monthly close, variance analysis, and performance steering using AI. Cover close acceleration, automated management commentary, KPI quality, and board pack automation.
Use AI for cash forecasting, receivables risk scoring, collections prioritisation, payables optimisation, fraud and anomaly detection, and liquidity scenario planning.
Build a safe, auditable, and legally robust AI governance model for finance. Cover the EU AI Act risk classification, GDPR boundaries, human oversight requirements, vendor risk, works council considerations, and internal control implications.
Redesign how finance teams work with AI. Cover future finance role profiles, AI champions, prompting and AI-assisted workflows, upskilling roadmaps, change management, and works council and employee trust.
Build the financial case for AI investment. Cover value drivers, cost-benefit-risk categories, productivity and quality gains, EBITDA and cash impact, pilot and scaling economics, and board-level ROI communication.
Convert the full programme into a board-ready decision package. Each participant delivers a final capstone presentation of their complete AI Finance Playbook, including narrative, business case, roadmap, and decision request.
Finance
Playbook.
The AI Finance Playbook is the binding deliverable of the programme. Participants build it incrementally — each session adds one completed, company-specific section. By the end of the programme, each participant holds a complete board-ready AI finance strategy document tailored to their organisation.
The Playbook belongs to the participant. It is their company document, not programme collateral. Each session opens by reviewing the previous Playbook section and closes by completing the current one. No section is left as homework — it is built live in the working session with your own company data.
